CHAY Kwong Soon, Founder & Chairman

A seasoned entrepreneur himself, Chay is the founder of Enspire. He brings with him a depth of experience, vision and industry connections worldwide.

Chay is a co-founder and former president of Creative Technology Ltd (Nasdaq/Singapore Stock Exchange). He led the effort in building up Creative's marketing organisation in Asia, Europe and Latin America, and manufacturing operations in Singapore, Malaysia, United States and Ireland. During his tenure between 1988 and 1996, Creative's sales grew from US$5m to US$1.2b.

With a keen interest in technology and strong business acumen, Chay has worked with a number of start-ups in the U.S., North Asia and South East Asia since mid 1996. Some of these start-ups have attained listing status in various stock exchanges or been merged with industry leaders in the related fields.

Besides Enspire, Chay is the Chairman of Beyonics Technology Ltd, a Singapore mainboard-listed contract manufacturer. Over the years, Chay has also served as board members or advisors to a number of business organisations, including Creative, Logitech, Leadtek Research, Hony Capital, CVC Asia Pacific, CMT China Value and KLM Capital. Chay was also appointed to the board of Singapore Economic Development Board for 2005 and 2006.

Chay graduated with a BSc degree from the National University of Singapore, majoring in Physics.

Dr. Lung YEH, Managing Director

Dr. Lung Yeh brings to Enspire seasoned executive experience from diverse U.S. and international large companies and start-ups. He has strong technical and business experience from the multimedia, wireless communications and networking industry.

Prior to Enspire, Dr. Yeh was Senior Vice President of marketing, sales and operation at Centrality Communications, a GPS SoC company, from 2003 to 2004. He co-founded and served as President and CEO of Pico Communications, a Bluetooth access point product company, from 1999 to 2003. He was Vice President of the Internet and Communication Division at Creative Labs, from 1993 to 1998. He founded ShareVision Technology Inc. in 1991 and served as the President and Chief Technical Officer until its acquisition by Creative Labs in 1993. Before founding ShareVision, Dr. Yeh held various management and technical positions at Apple Computer, Verizon (NYNEX), and Eastman Kodak between 1984 and 1991.

Dr. Yeh received his Ph.D. from University of Wisconsin-Madison in electrical and computer engineering in 1984, and B.S.E.E. degree in communication engineering from National Chiao-Tung University, Hsin-Chu, Taiwan in 1978. He holds two U.S. patents.
